Movie Synopsys:

The story of the film takes place immediately after the end of the war in a typical small village somewhere in Serbia.

The president of the Local People's Council schemes together with the pesents, trying different ways to outwit the obligatory sale of wheat and other state duties. In the district, they decided to replace him, but while he was fishing with dinamite he was blown to piaces…

Contrary to the deceased, the new president puts all his energy to pull the village from its lethargic state and backwardness and bring them in the process of the industralization of the country. He encounters strong resistance, but in applying strictky Stalin’s “subtle” methods, he succeeds in turning the peasents into the working class.

Directed from high place that Marx’s Kapital contains inspirations which will change man’s conscience and the world, he only wants to study Marxism in peace and apply it in practice, but that was not so easy.
