Movie Synopsys:

Concrete high-rises and occasional little houses with tiny courtyards. Nereby a racetrack, stud farm, various horses and jockeys. That is the part of the world inhabitated by the heroes of this story: a class of twelve-year-old boys and girls.

Zoran is an excellent student and an excellent horseman. His skills arouse amazement in some friends, jealousy in others. Zoran’s parents are divorced. He lives with his mother, who doesn’t understand his love for horses...His love isn’t only the old champion Zimzelen, but his father who trains and rides the once unbeatable galloper. One day the children learn thet the management of the horse farm has decided to write off old horses and sell them to a slaughterhouse. After futile attempts to save his beloved Zimzelen, Zoran and his friends steal him. The disappearence of the children and the horse alarms people from the racetrack, their parents, the school...Only than do the adults realise that through the cruel fate of Zimzelen, the children would lose part of their love, trust, happiness, playfulness and enthusiasam, too. Sure of their victory, the children secretly return Zimzelen. As a reward for their persistence, the class is granted their favorite horse.
